Counselling Placement Opportunity from September 2025 on Monday evenings

We are currently looking for a counsellor in training to help deliver our low cost counselling to individuals who are on a low income. This placement offers the opportunity for both face to face and remote sessions. The placement will start in September 2025.

We can offer:

• ·       Broad experience of a wide range of issues

• ·       Cases which have been assessed for suitability by the director

• ·       Line management from the director

• ·       The opportunity to learn about being in private practice

• ·       Free monthly peer supervision group

• ·       Flexible end date to the placement to allow time to complete your hours

This placement will suit you if

• ·       You have experience working with people from a range of backgrounds and with a range of different issues

• ·       You are confident working with a high level of autonomy

• ·       You are willing offer both face to face and remote sessions

• ·       You are available to see clients on a Monday evening

• ·       You live within easy travelling distance of Sheffield city centre

• ·       You have supervision provided on your course or are able to arrange your own private supervision.
